Well, this is it guys. I'm leaving for Basic Training today at 12:30pm, which is in an hour and twenty-five minutes from now. I just wanted to say goodbye (Well, not exactly 'goodbye', more like, 'see ya' later' ). And I think a picture- or photo in this case, works better than anything.

P.S. I apologize that my stupid mitts can't make a proper heart, but that's what it's supposed to be. ^^;

I think there are only two people who will actually get the full effect of this. :D

And this last part goes out to everyone who takes the time to read this:

May the saddest day of your future
be no worse than the happiest day of your past.
:shamrock: :peace:

EDIT: Fuck, I miss being home. I saw this and I was just drawn in by the background. I miss waking up and laying there as the morning sun pours in through the window. It was definitely a simpler more serene time for me. I love the Army, I love my job, but I definitely miss home, friends, and family.

Life's short. Smoke it up.

I'm glad we got to watch movies together before you left off for basic. But geez, I'm gonna miss you, man. I always look forward to the comment you'll send me from the conversation we started way back in November of 2007 from my journal entry. lol

:cry:

I can't wait to hear from you when you get back. I hope you're all toughened up and ready to fight! Viel Glück, mein guter Mann! Best wishes, too.

That's sad that you are leaving, or actually at this point have already left :tears: I have a lot of friends that have gone into the military. Including two of my best friends. For one of my friends, we had a drinking party right before he left and he recorded our drunken goodbyes lol. That was hilarious to watch in the morning...

Well, good luck, I hope they don't beat you too much into a pulp. Which branch did you go into anyway? (I know you most likely won't get this until you get back, but I feel the need to say it anyway, it's the thought that counts).
